Don't be confused. Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi’s film OMG 2 is not at all a sequel to the 2012 film OMG.This film is totally different from the first film. That film was about commercialization
of religion and godmen and how religion sells like hot cakes. But this film is based on sex education. This film must be tax free and shown in schools.Remember, the movie garnered attention prior to its release due to receiving an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) but there is no vulgarity. Banking on that popularity, the writer and director brings forward a story for a kid who seems to have been wronged, whose father comes forward to defend him in the court of law.
The concept of the movie is bold and relevant..The director and the actors have introduced the concept of sex education in school. Movie is full of social messages and humour in concept. All of the actors have played their roles very amazingly in the movie. The acting levels of both Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi are just recommendable and outstanding. Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva's messenger and Pankaj Tripathi as Lord Shiva's devotee. The Amit Rai directorial makes a strong case for the inclusion of sex education in the Indian schools' curriculum. Still, in India, talking openly about sex education is a very sensitive issue. But director Amit Rai has shown a very bold move to take such a sensitive issue and display it very smoothly on the silver screen. It is full of powerful social messages and arguments, along with a family-friendly movie. The movie has made a very thin line between parents and children where both individuals can discuss this topic.
In nutshell the story begins with the character Kanti Sharan Mudga. played by Pankaj Tripathi, who is a very spiritual person. He is a devotee to MAHAKAAL Lord Shiva. he is a flower shopkeeper and the father of two kids. But suddenly, his life changed due to his school going son Vivek. Kanti has informed Vivek has been admitted to the hospital for excessive masturbation. Due to the act, Vivek has been expelled from his school. To avoid the humiliation of society, Kanti has decided to run away with his children. But at that moment, Akshay Kumar came with divine intervention to save the situation and to guide Kanti to the right path. After that, Kanti takes the whole School authority along with the chemist, the doctor and the sexual performance-enhancing potion peddler to the court, and the whole story revolves around the courtroom. Ultimately, the concept of teaching sex education has come out.
However, the question of why sex education needed to be explored through the prism of faith is not always cogently answered. The question why Is Sex education in Indian Schools Still A Taboo ? Because, sex education programs in India receive backlash from parents, conservative religious organizations, and political leaders. Pre-marital sex is viewed as immoral and sinful by many. It is
considered against our culture, hence there is no need to educate children about sex education. In India, sex is a private topic.Majority of primary teachers believe it should be taught at home, not in
school. In fact, sex education is an important part of education which helps young people to understand their body, sexual emotions, and sexuality and helps them to make informed decisions about their bodily needs.
