New Bengal CM to take oath on May 9, says BJP State Chief

Bhattacharya confirmed that preparations for the swearing-in ceremony are underway, with the formal transition of power expected to take place later this week. The event is likely to draw senior party leaders and key figures from across the country, underlining the significance of the electoral outcome.The scale of the BJP’s victory marks a turning point in a state long dominated by regional political forces. With a clear majority, the party now faces the task of translating its electoral success into governance, focusing on development, infrastructure, and administrative reforms.
