Iran, which has been rocked by protests over the past two weeks, has imposed a communications blackout, and is facing international pressure for its crackdown on protestors. This comes as Iran warned US allies in its neighbourhood that it will strike the American bases on their soil if Washington targets Tehran. US President Donald Trump has threatened earlier that he would intervene to support protesters if the Islamic regime continues killing the citizens. The death toll in Iran due to the violent protests and government crackdown has crossed 2,600.
