Karnataka drug case: actor couple interrogated

Karnataka police on Wednesday interrogated an actor couple Digant and Aindrita Rai in Bengaluru. It is believed that the duo have attended many drug parties and  visited Sri Lanka casino. They will be again called for enquiry in another 3 days according to the chief of Central Crime Branch(CCB). Their mobile phones confiscated by the police and sent for investigation. They have not been arrested to day and given few days time to furnish more documents/proof of their today's disclosure.

Both of them were questioned seperately. They said after their 4 hours grilling that they will co-operate with police and come for further enquiry. They may have to appear again on Monday..Apart from this police arrested 2 more African drug pedlars from Bengaluru.

Meanwhile one of the main accused  in drug case, film actor Sanjana Galrani, whose police custody  expiredon Wednesday, got 2 days judicial custody  by the first ACMM and lodged in Parappaana Agrahara jail along with Ragini Dwivedi who is already serving 14 days judicial custody. Earlier, the CCB again grilled her till they produced her to the court this evening.  Besides,  two other accused drug pedlars Ravishankar and Viren Khanna were also given to judicial custody. Two days earlier, other 5 accused were sent to judicial custody. Now all the 8 accused arrested in this drug racket are now in jail serving judicial custody.
