Iran blames hostile countries for chemical attacks on schoolgirls

In Iran, protests broke out in Tehran and other cities on Saturday over a wave of suspected poison attacks that have affected schoolgirls in dozens of schools. The so-far unexplained illnesses have affected hundreds of schoolgirls in recent months. Dozens of girls' schools in several Iranian cities targeted by poison attacks on Saturday. A report said that at least 116 schools have been targeted, and it can confirm 70 cases of poisoning. The country's Health Minister has said the girls have suffered mild poison attacks. Iran’s gov’t spokesman on Sunday blamed security bodies of “hostile countries” for the recent chemical attacks against schools, saying they intend to prevent Iran’s growth. He also accused anti-regime protesters & media of attempting to shut down schools by inciting insecurity.

As per local media reports, thousands of Iranians in major cities around the world have staged demonstrations against the Islamic regime and called for global attention to the country's brutal crackdown on protesters, including scores of chemical attacks on girls' schools. Meanwhile, an Islamic revolutionary turned regime critic, has accused Ali Khamenei of the poison attacks on girls' schools which have left hundreds of students sick and numerous hospitalized.Abolfazl Qadiani (Ghadyani) said the scores of incidents around the country since November, are a "revenge" against the Women, Life, Freedom movement, at the forefront of which have been schoolgirls and students.In a statement, Qadiani said of Khamenei: "In his false belief, by suppressing the street gatherings, he found an opportunity to take revenge to appease his evil spirit. So, he has targeted the physical and mental health and safety of the brave pioneers of the movement.”
