The Iran Defense Ministry has said that its ammunition production facility in Isfahan was targeted by three micro aerial vehicles (MAVs), one of which was shot down by the facility's air defense system, and the two others also exploded after being trapped by air defense. The Defense Ministry's statement says the "unsuccessful attack" did not kill anyone, and only caused minor damages to the workshop's roof.

The statement said the attack has not disrupted the facility's operation, nor has it damaged its equipment. As per media reports, Se Isfahan citizens said that they have heard at least "three or four explosions". IRNA report says that a large motor oil plant in the Iranian city of Shahid Salim in the province of East Azerbaijan also caught fire. The facility is said to have also been attacked by drones.
