Ishan Kishan became the most expensive buy so far after Mumbai Indians picked him up for Rs 15.25 crore. Soon after, Deepak Chahar was roped in by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 14 crore. Lockie Ferguson and Prasidh Krishna were picked up for Rs 10 crore each by Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals respectively. Sunrisers Hyderabad sprang a surprise by roping in Nicholas Pooran for a whopping Rs 10.75 crore. Krunal Pandya and Mitchell Marsh were the other big picks. Earlier in the afternoon, the IPL 2022 Auction resumed with Charu Sharma taking over the duties for the day from an unwell Hugh Edmeades collapsed mid-event.

Jason Holder goes to Lucknow, while Dwayne Bravo is back with CSK, while Nitish Rana returns to KKR. Shikhar Dhawan, Kagiso Rabada went to Punjab Kings for Rs 8.25 core and 9.25 crore respectively.
