In IPL on Sunday, Royal Challengers, Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings adavanced in their respective pools. Royal Challengers Bangalore thrashed Mumbai Indians by 54 runs at Dubai.Put into bat first, Bangalore posted a score of 165 for six in the stipulated 20 overs with help of Glenn Maxwell's 56 off 37 balls and Virat Kohli's 51 off 42. Chasing the victory target, Mumbai were all-out for 111 in 18.1 overs.
Earlier, in the first match, Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by two wickets in a last-ball thriller at Abu Dhabi. Batting first, Kolkata scored 171 for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Chennai achieved the target in the last ball of the game after losing eight wickets.
