India's gross domestic product (GDP) has crossed the $ 4 trillion-mark in nominal terms, making it the fourth largest globally, several media reports said on November 19, citing a purported screenshot of a live GDP tracker of all economies based on the International Monetary Fund (IMF) data. BJP leaders and ministers claimed on Sunday praising PM Modi's leadership. This is a significant step towards India's $5 trillion economy goal. According to the viral screengrab, India left UK behind as its GDP crossed $4 trillion only to be preceded by US, China, Japan and Germany. India was followed by the UK, France, Italy, Canada and Russia in the top 10. Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani congratulates India on achieving this milestone.
