India on Tuesday defeated South Africa by 7 wickets in the 3rd ODI in New Delhi. Chasing a target of 100 runs, India comfortably reached home in 19.1 overs, thanks to Shubman Gill's 49-run knock. Earlier, Kuldeep Yadav registered figures of 4 for 18 in 4.1 overs as the Shishar Dhawan-led side bundled out South Africa for 99 runs. For the guests, Heinrich Klaasen was the top scorer with a 34-run knock as seven South African batters got out for single-digit scores. India captain Shikhar Dhawan had opted to bowl first in the game.

The Indian bowlers steamrolled the South Africa batters, packing them for 99 in 27.1 overs, which is their lowest in ODIs. Kuldeep Yadav emerged as the highest wicket-taker, scalping four wickets in the 4.1 overs he bowled. South Africa never found themselves in the contest, losing wickets in quick intervals.
