Imran Khan's wife Bushra's friend flees Pakistan fearing arrest

In Pakistan, people close to Imran Khan  have started fleeing abroad as they fear retribution if a new government is installed. Recent case is related to Farah Khan, who is a close friend of Imran Khan’s third wife Bushra Bibi, has reportedly fled the country after she was accused of corruption. Farah Khan’s husband, Ahsan Jamil Gujjar, has already left for the US. And Farah Khan left for Dubai on Sunday, The Express Tribune newspaper reported. Farah Khan, sitting on a flight has surfaced on social media and is going viral. According to claims, the handbag seen in the photo costs $90,000. According to a Geo News report, PML-N leader and former finance minister Miftah Ismail said Farah amassed a huge amount of money from the transfer of civil servants in Punjab.

Earlier, estranged PTI leader Aleem Khan alleged that Bushra Bibi's aide fled the country as she feared that she would be arrested. Farah Khan's original name is Farah Shahzadi. Farah Khan was believed to be the frontwoman of someone, allegedly Usman Buzdar, the former chief minister of Punjab.Her husband has also fled Pakistan, it is believed. The development comes amidst the political turmoil in Pakistan that resulted after a no-confidence motion against Imran Khan was rejected by the deputy speaker of the National Assembly. Subsequently, the Pakistan President dissolved the National Assembly. As Imran Khan issued calls for fresh elections, the Pakistan Cabinet Secretariat de-notified him as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
