As part of Ajadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, 75th years of Independence, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is set to be historic event of the century. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi with this campaign not only aims to strengthen harmony and fraternity but also showcase to world the unity of India despite its cultural, religion and social diversity. All stakeholders including government agencies and general public are believed to in sync to make it a big success. Chief minister of MP Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed for flag hoisting and donning of Tricolour in each and every possible locations.
In MP, the surface transport department is leaving no stone unturned to take the video/audio message to far flung places through its road transport network. Deputy Transport Commissioner Arvind Saxena said all the check-post and RTO offices across state have been tasked to carry out campaign in its true spirit.
Besides Divisional offices including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Rewa have also been entrusted with responsibility for success of Har Ghar Tiranga drive. Various awareness programmes are being organised by the department in association with Jan Bhagidari committees
The department have distributed approx. 1 lakh tricolours to bus operators, auto operators, auto dealers and general public as part of mega drive. Besides placard and stickers have also been distributed through department’s network, he added. Theses stickers will be pasted on vehicles including buses, trucks, tractors, auto-rickshaw, two-wheelers etc. Audio/Video message by CM Chouhan is being played in all state run/ inter-state buses. Nearly 500 vehicles had assembled to perform Tiranga Abhiyan in Narmadapuran on Thursday. Similar rallies were also held in Rewa division and Harda district of MP. DY TC said the campaign is effectively being carried out in villages by roping in farmers thronging grain Mandi with tractor-trollies etc. Life size posters are being placed at major check posts in the state to encourage citizens to don Tricolour in each house between August 13 and 15, 2022.
The significance of event assumes greater importance today when countries are hostile against each other including neighbouring China. It (China) is not only bullying Taiwan but sovereign nations of South China Sea including Japan. Besides recent invasion of Ukraine by Russia negatively impacted the world and their economies.
