The 12th edition of the International Expo on Agricultural Technology 'Agri Asia 2023' and Dairy Livestock and Poultry Expo, a flagship event in the agricultural calendar, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Friday,in the presence of Minister of Agriculture Raghav Patel, Chairman of IFFCO Dilip Sanghani, Mayor of Gandhinagar Hitesh Makwana,in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The three-day event, running from September 15 to 17, 2023, brings together farmers, agribusiness professionals, and industry experts from across the world to explore the latest innovations and advancements in agriculture, dairy, livestock, and poultry sectors.
Chief Minister, Bhupendra Patel lauded the expo's role in fostering agricultural growth. In his inaugural address, he stated, "This event serves as a pivotal platform for knowledge exchange and technological innovations, aligning with our vision to empower our farmers with modern techniques and sustainable practices." The Agri Asia and Dairy Livestock and Poultry Expo is known for its diverse array of exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge technologies, products, and services. This year, it has attracted a total number of 172 exhibitors from India and abroad.As many as 25 foreign brand products have also been presented in this exhibition.

Event was formulated in the year 2011 and since its inception it has been progressively forming an International Exhibition and Conference on Agriculture Technologies every year in the month of September at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. This includes modern technological developments like greenhouse, irrigation, solar pumps & lightings, bio-fertilizers, seeds technologies, poultry & dairy technologies, the latest storage solutions for the farm produces and its transportation. The exhibition follows a trend towards modernization of the agriculture industry and the entire food chain in India. It offers lots of opportunities to communicate with the leading international agriculture technology companies. Agri Asia serves a great platform for bringing together the foreign as well as national visitors to interact and deal with the leading international agricultural technology companies.It has been popular because not only the big stake holders take part in it but also the farmers from almost every states of India are visiting and being part of this International event. It also offers networking opportunities with many groups like high ranking agriculture officials to identify and explore business as well as investment opportunities across India.
