Gujarat’s tourism sector is accelerating toward global excellence, led by the transformative development of Shivrajpur Beach—India’s premier Global Blue Flag Beach—now emerging as the state’s flagship model for sustainable coastal tourism. Backed by a ₹130 crore investment by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited (TCGL), this landmark project will be a key highlight at the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) in Rajkot in January 2026.Aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Dekho Apna Desh vision, the Shivrajpur Beach project highlights Gujarat’s commitment to providing international-standard tourism experiences within India. The beach’s dramatic transformation reflects the state’s focus on eco-friendly infrastructure, global safety standards, and enhanced public amenities—ensuring that world-class coastal travel is accessible to all.
Located in Devbhumi Dwarka district, Shivrajpur Beach is renowned for its pristine shoreline, safety, and serene natural charm. Its Global Blue Flag certification underscores excellence in waste management, environmental protection, cleanliness, and visitor services.
Holistic Infrastructure for a Global Destination
The Shivrajpur development project includes a wide range of facilities designed to elevate the visitor experience:

The beach will also host seasonal festivals and tourism-focused events to boost footfall and promote cultural engagement.
Kutch–Saurashtra: A High-Growth Investment Zone
The Kutch–Saurashtra tourism circuit will be a major highlight of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference in Rajkot from 10–12 January 2026, where Shivrajpur Beach will serve as the model template of Gujarat’s coastal tourism potential.
The state government and tourism authorities are calling on global investors, developers, and hospitality leaders to capitalize on diverse high-return opportunities across the region, including:
•Premium coastal resorts and beachfront hospitality
•Water sports, marine adventure tourism, and family recreation hubs in Dwarka
