In FIFA World Cup on Friday,Iran beat Wales to stay alive in the Group B. Iran were long looking to break the deadlock, as they put pressure on Wales with a barrage of attacks. But Wales goalkeeper Hennessey seeing the red card opened the game up for Iran. Wales had to change their formation and Iran gained complete control of the match. Rouzbeh Cheshmi and Ramin Rezaeian scored two late stoppage-time goals to help Iran secure a dramatic 2-0 win against Wales.

The game was off to an electric start with both teams looking to score the important first goal. The first shot on goal was from Neco Williams in the third minute but the ball went well over the crossbar. The first half remained a drab affair, with neither of the two teams managing to creat big chances.The game restarted with both teams vying for the goal and the best chance came in the 50th minute with Azmoun hitting the post. It was followed up by Gholizadeh hitting the bar before Azmoun's header was saved by Hennessey.
