The Everest Better Kitchen Culinary Challenge (Everest BKCC) Season 7 — was conducted at FHRAI Institute of Hotel Management, Greater Noida. Recognised as India’s largest culinary competition for hotel management students, Season 7 is being hosted across 19 cities nationwide, along with three concurrent skill-based competitions: Better Kitchen Bakery Champion, Better Kitchen F&B Young Masters Challenge, and the Enzo Housekeeping Olympiad. The series will culminate in a prestigious National Finale in Mumbai. Participants across all competitions gain access to global opportunities, including eligibility for a USD 500 WCE Scholarship through the Bridge USA J-1 Exchange Visitor Program or opportunities for advanced studies in Europe.
The NCR Delhi edition witnessed the presence of senior industry professionals, hospitality leaders, and enthusiastic student participants who showcased exceptional culinary creativity, technical expertise, and professional discipline. Speaking at the event, Ekta Bhargava, Publisher, Better Kitchen, highlighted the core vision behind the initiative. “Our goal is to prepare students for future challenges and promote Indian regional cuisine globally while preserving its authenticity and flavours,” she said.
At the national level, winners of Everest BKCC Season 7 will receive prize money of Rs51,000, Rs21,000, and Rs11,000, while their respective institutes will be awarded Rs25,000, Rs10,000, and ₹5,000 in recognition of their mentorship and support.The event concluded with the announcement of winners across categories, reinforcing the initiative’s commitment to strengthening India’s hospitality education ecosystem and celebrating the nation’s emerging culinary talent.
