US President Donald Trump has said that immigration is ‘destroying countries’ and asked other countries to act on it. Addressing the United Nations General Assembly, marking his first speech at the world body since returning to office on Tuesday, he accused the United Nations of “being no help”. Trump claims that China and India are the “primary funders” of Russia's Ukraine war. He also adds that Europeans must 'immediately cease' buying Russian oil. He also repeated his claim of ending “7 wars in 7 months”.

Addressing world leaders, Donald Trump emphasised the need for a ceasefire in Gaza. He also accused Hamas of rejecting reasonable peace offers. “Those who want peace should unite behind hostage release,” he said. Trump also said that recognising a Palestinian state “would be too great for Hamas”.
