Actor Dia Mirza shared the images of his newborn baby on Instagram on Wednesday morning. She said the baby was born in May, but was under the care of nurses and hospital staff because of being born premature. Mirza had to undergo emergency c-section because of the bacterial infection during the birth of her baby boy.
The actor and her husband Vaibhav Rekhi have named the boy Avyaan Azaad Rekhi, “our heart beat, our son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi was born on May 14th. Having arrived early, our little miracle has since then been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU” the actress said in the Instagram post.
“We do not have enough words to thank all those who continue to help us live this story of hope and faith and create a safe, healing, nurturing space for Avyaan and I. He will be home soon” Mirza added.
Mirza shared the first glimpse of the baby wherein she is holding his little hands.
Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi tied the nuptial knot on 15th February this year. Avyaan is their first born and Vaibhav has already one daughter Samaira from his first marriage.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Anushka Sharma are among the ones who congratulated the couple on social media.
