Adaa Khan, who is known for shows like “Amrit Manthan” and “Naagin”, to name a few, loves the way superstar Deepika Padukone dresses up. She said that DP’s style oozes confidence no matter what she wears. “I see fashion as a means of expressing myself. It's a subtle way of expressing my personality, creativity, and mood. It should be appropriate for the situation, allow me to try new things, and enable me to pull them off without feeling uncomfortable. Although I don't have anyone in particular to look up to in terms of fashion, I do think highly of Deepika Padukone. She expresses confidence in whatever she wears,” she said.
The young actress also expressed that being a celebrity does come with its baggage, as they need to look good at all times. “Being in the spotlight does come with a certain amount of pressure. But I've learned to accept it with grace, realising that being well-groomed is more than simply appearance — it's also about expressing confidence and genuineness.” “In my opinion, it's crucial to be authentic, creative, self-assured, and to constantly smile and look directly into the other person's eyes. That's what I always do. I always feel confident in whatever I wear,” she added.
Adaa loves to keep up with trends, and said, “I really like keeping up with current fashions, but instead of just following what's in style, I always make sure that the trends suit my comfort level and personal taste. In addition, I personalise everything I wear in order to combine trends with originality.” She revealed her go-to clothes are “oversized t-shirts paired with leggings or cozy jeans”, and said, “Summers in Mumbai are super hot and I think you should wear clothes accordingly. For me, summer is all about breezy, casual aesthetics. I'm looking forward to flowy dresses, pastel colors. White, though, has a special place. Well, my go-to outfit of choice for the party season is always black. It goes without saying that I adore the colour black and usually wear it to parties.” 
“I avoid wearing denim in summers. Shorts are fine but I cannot wear jeans. So I'm excited to add a variety of light yet stylish looks to my summer wardrobe,” Adaa ended.

Anjali Phougat on managing multi-city career and being a mom: It’s all about multitasking, slotting time in advance

For fashion designer Anjali Phougat, life right now might be out of suitcases; but she makes sure to take out time for the things that matter. A mom to a beautiful daughter, Anjali says that she makes sure to set time apart for family, and manage her work trips as well. “Time management is a key because I travel a lot for my shows, my garment production, for pre-production, meeting my team. I have teams from all over the USA. And when we have team meetings, after parties, discussions, some of the work we can do by Zoom calls, but mostly a lot of travel is essential. I travel seven or eight times a month, and I make sure to manage this time well. But also, I have a huge team. It's definitely not a one man show. My manager, he's very good at planning things out. We plan things ahead and we block our calendar,” she says.
As for this year, she is fully loaded, says Anjali. “This year started with a boom and it's all-packed already! I have my time slotted for the coming couple of months. So, like this, we plan our time and block our calendars in advance, we schedule things. I journal a lot and we do not commit to the things that our time does not permit.”
However, being there for her daughter is her top priority, she says, adding, “I'm a mom as well, and a lot of time is spent with my daughter. She's very active in academics and extracurricular activities, such as dancing. She does a lot of stage dancing and performances. And I make sure to be there for her performances and to take her for her classes, extracurricular activities. But I have a wonderful support system at home as well.”

To be a rich person on TV is the best thing: Rrahul Sudhir on joining Invictus Mediawork's ‘Dabangii - Mulgi Aayi Re Aayi’

Actor Rrahul Sudhir has joined Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herumb Khot’s production banner Invictus T Mediaworks’ show “Dabangii - Mulgi Aayi Re Aayi”. The show has taken a leap of 14 years, and he will be seen portraying the character of Yug. His character is that of a wealthy guy and he said that playing such characters on TV is the best thing. He also shared that since the show is already on-air, the preparation for his character is an ongoing process. He revealed, “Yug is a casual, typical hero and a typical main lead. He is charismatic and all things good but a little grey, which is fair right now. Eventually, it has a lot of twists and turns and has its own graph. To be a rich person on TV is the best thing that can happen to anybody. You get good clothes to wear and good cars to drive, and it’s chic and spectacular.”
“As far as the preparation for the role is concerned, I am still in the process of it. It's a running show, and there wasn't a lot of scope for contemplation and research,“ he added. Rrahul accepted that whenever a show takes a leap, the new cast has a lot of performance pressure on them. However, he believes in going with the flow and giving his best, because the audience is going to judge them no matter how they perform.
He said, “When there is a new story or a leap or a new cast, the acceptance and the validation is the part and parcel that comes with the package. If you put too much thought into it, I think it hinders your flow as an artist. If the people don’t accept you, you can’t do anything about it, if they accept you, you still can’t do anything about it. So at the end of the day, all you can do is try and give your best and that is more than enough. You need to have peace in your heart to be able to sleep peacefully or nothing else that should bother you as an actor.”
When asked about the production house, he said it has been a great experience so far and appreciated them for their considerate nature. “The production has been ongoing for a while, and the entire team is pretty gelled up. I am the one who is sort of new, and I need to adjust to the setup and the expectations of what has already been done in the past. So far, the journey has been exciting, and the production is very good and professional. They are pretty accommodating and understanding, very approachable and sensitive as producers. These are the qualities I look for in people who are in the business of storytelling,” Rrahul ended.
