In Telangana, Congress MP from Malkajgiri, A. Revanth Reddy has been arrested on allegations of illegally using a drone camera to shoot the farm house allegedly owned by State IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao and sent on 14-day remand.
He has been produced before a local Magistrate, who remanded him to 14-day judicial custody. The police took him to the Charlapally Central Jail in Hyderabad amidst tight security.
The MP was arrested on the allegations of using a drone illegally to shoot the farm house purportedly owned by IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao at Janwada village under Narsingi police station limits on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The Narsingi police have registered cases against the MP under Sections 184 and 187 IPC and Section 22 of Aircraft Act against Revanth Reddy and eight others.
Congress leaders have condemned the arrest.
