Congress on Friday got a rude shock from the poll strategist Prasant Kishor who clearly said that there was no quick solution to the “deep-rooted problems and structural weakness” of the Congress. In a tweet he indicated a divide between him and Congress. He said those looking for a quick, spontaneous revival of a GOP (Grand Old Party) led Opposition, based on the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, were in for a "big disappointment".
People looking for a quick, spontaneous revival of GOP led opposition based on #LakhimpurKheri incident are setting themselves up for a big disappoinment.

Unfortunately there are no quick fix solutions to the deep-rooted problems and structural weakness of GOP.
His tweet seemingly hinting towards the party's recent troubles in Punjab and Chhattisgarh. About a month ago, the party was seeking help from the strategist to revive the Congress. But in between the Punjab political crisis and in-fighting has put the party's future at stake in Punjab. Former CM Amrinder Sing appointed Kishor is political Advisor in May for the state assembly election but that too could not materialze ad Captain Singh resigned from his post. Kishor's tweet also hint at his rift with the Congress.
