MP CM seeks global investments at UAE Business Forum

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended the ‘Madhya Pradesh Business Investment Forum’ in the UAE on Monday, as part of his efforts to attract global investments and promote the state as a leading business destination. The event began with a ceremonial welcome for the guests, who were honoured with flowers and shawls.
The forum saw participation from several dignitaries, including Sahitya Chaturvedi, Secretary General of IBPC Dubai, Consul General Satish Kumar Sivan, and senior officials from Madhya Pradesh. At the opening, Raghwendra Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary of Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion and MSME departments, presented the state’s investment potential, highlighting government-friendly policies and emerging sectors.Singh outlined key sectors with strong investment prospects, including food processing, automobiles, electric vehicles, textiles, garments, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, chemical APIs, logistics, and warehousing. He said, “Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, we have brought eighteen new pro-business, multi-industry approach policies in 2025. I confidently say that we have the finest investment-friendly policies across sectors.”
Strategic Investment Talks with Global Leaders
Earlier in the day, CM Yadav engaged in wide-ranging discussions with industry leaders, aiming to attract investments worth $30–50 million. According to information,he met Ibrahim Sharaf, Chairman of Sharaf Group, to explore strategic investment opportunities in logistics and supply chain infrastructure, including the establishment of a Rail Siding Logistics Park in Madhya Pradesh, which is expected to generate 300–600 direct and indirect jobs.
The Chief Minister also held talks with Sunil Manjrekar, President of the Gulf Maharashtra Business Forum (GMBF), on enhancing connectivity between Madhya Pradesh and business networks in the Middle East and Africa. Manjrekar assured strong cooperation for foreign investment, export growth, and global value chain integration.

;Additionally, CM Yadav met Tata Group representatives to discuss potential investments in IT, renewable energy, infrastructure, automobiles, and consumer products, and held a one-on-one meeting with Humaid Mohamed Ben Salem, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) UAE, to strengthen bilateral trade and investment ties.
Highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s cultural richness, Yadav spoke about efforts to boost religious tourism, citing the annual Baba Mahakal procession in Ujjain. He said, “We have made new arrangements for Baba Mahakal’s procession. The state government is committed to increasing religious tourism in the state.”
