The IPL-2022 will kick off with four-time champions Chennai Super Kings taking on Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26 at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. The BCCI on Sunday announced the complete schedule of the Indian Premier League 2022. The league opener is a repeat of last year's final, in which CSK defeated KKR by 27 runs to be crowned champions.

The two new entrants in the IPL the Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans will open their accounts two days later on March 28 when they face each other, also at the Wankhede Stadium. IPL 2022 will feature 12 double-headers, six each on Saturday and Sunday, with a total of 70 league matches to be played stretching over two months. The final of IPL 2022 will be held on May 29.
