Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Thursday that Russia could start "a major war in Europe" in the coming days.

Russia's ground forces have crossed into Ukraine from several directions.As per reports over 40 Ukranian and 50 Russian soldiers have died. 

China opposes “illegal” sanctions on Russia and has blamed the US and its allies for worsening the crisis.for escalating tensions over Ukraine.

US President Biden has said that Moscow had started an invasion of Ukraine and imposed the "first tranche" of sanctions against Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Moscow is ready to look for diplomatic solutions.

Taiwanese President said “external forces” were “attempting to manipulate the situation in Ukraine and affect the morale in Taiwan’s society”.
