BJP has released another list of eight candidates for the upcoming UP assembly elections. The party has fielded Hari Om Verma from Amanpur and Gudiya Katheria from Auraiya assembly seats. Earlier BJP has declared the names of 194 candidates. The party has mainly announced the names of the candidates for the first, second, third and fourth phases.

Samajwadi Party on Tuesday announced 39 more candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections. Among the names is former minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati’s wife Maharaji Devi who has been fielded from Amethi. SP has also fielded BSP defector and MLA Hakim Chandra Bind from Handia in Prayagraj district, and former BJP leader and MLA Madhuri Verma from Nanpara in Bahraich district.

In UP, polls to be held in seven phases. The first pnase will start from February 10.
