Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been taken to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital to be treated for COVID-19. The 46-year-old actress tested positive some days ago and was placed in isolation at the Bachchan residence Jalsa, which was sealed by the BMC as were the three other bungalows owned by the family.Aishwarya and Abhishek's eight-year-old daughter also has COVID-19. Amitabh Bachchan's wife Jaya tested negative for the virus.Earlier this week, Abhishek Bachchan announced in a tweet that his wife and daughter had tested positive for the Coronavirus. My mother tested negative.
Several film industry households other than the Bachchans have reportedly been hit by the Coronavirus. Actress Rekha's bungalow was sealed after her security staff was found to be infected. Actress Zoa Morani has had the virus and recovered. Several TV actors have recently tested positive.
