ACC approves the appointments of 7 joint Secretaries

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointments of 7 officers as Joint Secretary/Joint Secretary equivalent. These officers belonged to different central services. 

(1)  Ms. Veena Kumari Dermal (lPoS:1998), Director, Ministry of Mines as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Mines (2)  Naresh Pal Gangwar, lAS (RJ:1994), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (3)  Priyank Bharti, lAS (PB:2001), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways  has been appointed as Sr. Directing Staff (Civil), National Defence College, Department of Defence(4) Amit Varadan, (lRTS:1989), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways(5) Vishal Chauhan, lAS (SK:1998), as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare (6)  Sunil Kumar Barnwal, lAS (JH:1997), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs,  (7) Atul Singh, IPS(AP:1995), Additional Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission as Joint Secretary, Department of Sports.
