Eight wagons of a goods train derailed in Bihar’s Jamui district late Saturday night, disrupting railway services on the busy Howrah–Patna–Delhi route, officials said.No casualties were reported in the incident, they added.According to information, the derailment occurred around 11.25 pm between Lahabon and Simultala railway stations under the Asansol division of Eastern Railways. Following the accident, the movement of nearly two dozen trains was affected overnight, leading to inconvenience for passengers.Accident relief trains have been sent from Asansol, Madhupur and Jhajha stations to the spot, officials said, adding restoration work is underway.and efforts are being made to resume normal train operations at the earliest.
