India defeated West Indies by 96 runs in the third ODI to complete a 3-0 clean sweep vs West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday. Defending a target of 266 runs, the hosts bowled out Windies for 169 in 37.1 overs. Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj were in fantastic form and took three wickets each for India's bowling department. Meanwhile, Deepak Chahar and Kuldeep Yadav took two dismissals each. Initially, India were bowled out for 265 runs in 50 overs. The hosts had a top-order collapse but a dominating partnership by Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant turned the game's tide. Iyer smacked 80 runs off 111 bals and Pant hammered 56 runs off 54 deliveries. Jason Holder was in good form for the visitors and took four wickets. Meanwhile, Alzarri Joseph and Hayden Walsh took bagged two dismissals each. Wishes pour in for India and Rohit Sharma. Sachin Tendulkar congratulated the team India.

Earlier, India won the toss and opted to bat first in the third and final one-day international against West Indies on Friday. The hosts have already won the three-match series by taking an unassailable 2-0 lead. India won the first ODI by six wickets and the second by 44 runs.
