In Israel, rescuers managed to pull a dog from a building in the Tel Aviv area that was hit by an Iranian ballistic missile Friday midnight.A frightened dog was pulled from the rubble of a building in Tel Aviv by Israel’s rescue forces. The clip, widely shared on X, showed members of Israel’s emergency rescue team bringing the terrified animal out of a damaged building, gently escorting it to safety. The clip of the dog's rescue gave a rare moment of comfort. Users on social media reacted with emotion.

The rescue took place as Israel came under heavy missile fire following its airstrikes on key nuclear and military facilities inside Iran. The retaliatory barrage by Iran left parts of Israel shaken, with buildings damaged and multiple casualties reported. Iran’s missile response, which reached cities including Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, left at least three people dead and injured several others. Buildings in central Israel were badly hit, and hospitals reported a stream of casualties, most with minor injuries.
