VIP treatment to accused actor Darshan: Enquiry ordered, says CM

The Karnataka government has ordered an enquiry into the serving of tea and cigarette to murder accused actor Darshan Tugudeep lodged in Parappana Agrahara Prison of Bengaluru.Chief Superintendent of Prison and Superintendent of Prison were among 9 officials attached to Parappana Agrahara Prison have been placed under suspension. Talking to newsmen in Bangaluru on Tuesday, chief Minister Siddaramaih says, "We have ordered for an enquiry, already several officers are suspended if required others will also be suspended.."

On Sunday, a photograph of Darshan sipping on a beverage with a mug in right hand and a cigarette in his left hand went viral. In the photograph Darshan was seen chatting in the Garden of the Prison and was provided a chair, a table to have a chat with his friends-Wilson Garden Naga,his Manager Nagaraj and another friend Lakshman.
