Former Miss Ecuador beauty model was shot dead in broad daylight

A Beauty model and Ecuadorian influencer was shot dead in broad daylight after her Instagram post apparently led the killers to her location.Landy Párraga Goyburo, 23, uploaded a picture of octopus ceviche which is thought to have helped the assassins track down the restaurant she was eating. She was former Miss Ecuador.She had posted an Instagram story during lunch to share the picture of the pricey grub with her 173,000 followers on Sunday.Soon after, the two armed killers found her inside a restaurant in Quevedo - and shot her dead.
The incident was captured by surveillance cameras, revealing how two unidentified gunmen stormed into the eatery where Landy Parraga Goyburo was seated. As she conversed with a companion, the gunmen barged in. In a matter of seconds, the tranquility of the restaurant shattered as gunshots rang out, sending patrons diving for cover and leaving Goyburo and another person defenseless. Despite the chaos, the 23-year-old's attempt to seek refuge proved futile as one of the gunmen mercilessly fired at her. The attackers then made their escape, leaving behind a scene of horror and disbelief.
