Tandav controversial scene removed after FIRs

Amid a fresh FIR was registered in Mumbai's Ghatkopar Police Station against Tandav on Wednesday, Series makers have removed the controversial scene from the Amazon Prime web series. On Tuesday  after their second meeting with officials of Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tandav makers had decided to drop the controversial scene from the web series. Director Ali Abbas Zafar, had released a statement, announcing that they will drop the controversial scenes. 

In Mumbai,the FIR was registered under Sections 153 (A), 295 (A) and 505 of the Indian penal Code (IPC). Ali Abbas Zafar, producer Himanshu Mehra, writer Gaurav Solanki, head of India Originals at Amazon, Aparna Purohit, Saif Ali Khan and a few other actors in the series are named in the FIR.
