RRR creates history on Oscars 2023 stage. A sleepy audience was brought back alive with the performance to Naatu Naatu. Deepika Padukone introduced the song to the audience and called it a ‘banger’. The song Naau Naatu was performed first time on the international stage on Monday by singers- Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairva. Dressed in Indian traditional wear, both Rahul and Kaala were phenomenal on stage as they sung to the high beat number with American dancers led by Lauren Gottlieb.

The song was nominated in the Best Original Song category at Oscars 2023. The performance received a standing ovation from everyone present at the awards show with many watching the song being performed in awe. The song was performed live on stage for 2.5 minutes. Music director MM Keeravaani conducted the Oscar orchestra. The lyrics of the song were written by Chandrabose, while Prem Rakshith had choregraphed the number.
