Dilip Kumar discharged from hospital

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar is said back home after spending close to a week at the hospital. The actor was seen rolled out on a stretcher while his wife, actor Saira Banu waved at the paparazzi. Speaking to media, Saira Banu  "We are very happy. Fluid has been removed from his lungs. He is going home now. We thank all the supporters for the prayers." Dilip was admitted to the PD Hinduja hospital in Mumbai. His family friend Faisal Farooqui, posting from Dilip’s Twitter handle gave update about Dilip Kumar.

Dilip lost his brothers, Aslam Khan and Ahsan Khan, to Covid-19 last year. He and Saira did not celebrate their anniversary and his birthday last year, due to the deaths in the family.
