Animal box office collection day 1: beats Pathaan, Gadar2

Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol's much awaited film Animal has finally released in theatres and the Sandeep Reddy Vanga has managed to strike a chord with the audience. While the movie has opened to mixed reviews from the critics, it has recorded phenomenal numbers on its opening day at the box office.
According to Box Office India, the Hindi version of Animal has shown tremendous response in theatres. It is likely to earn up to Rs 52-53 crore nett. The film has also opened to a great response in Telugu and the collections from the dubbed versions is expected to go up to Rs 10 crore plus nett. The film is now aiming for Rs 63-65 crore nett opening for all languages.
With this grand opening, Animal will now become the 3rd or the 4th highest opener in Hindi and 2nd highest opener ever in all languages after Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan and beating the first day collections of Pathaan (Rs 57 crore), KGF 2 (Rs 53.95 crore), War (Rs 53.35), Thugs Of Hindostan (Rs 52.25), Happy New Year (Rs 44.97), Tiger 3 (Rs 44.50), Bharat (Rs 42.30), Baahubali 2 (Rs 41 crore), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 40.35 crore) and Gadar 2 (Rs 40.10).

Produced by Madhuri Dixit and Dr Shriram Nene’s ‘RNM Moving Pictures’The film received a standing ovation at the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF).Madhuri Dixit and Dr. Shriram Nene’s RNM Moving Pictures are all set to release their much-awaited Marathi film ‘Panchak’ on 5th January 2024. Directed by Jayant Jathar and Rahul Awate, the film received a standing ovation at the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF). 

This film marks the second production of RNM Moving Pictures after 15th August which was released directly on OTT and received rave reviews. ‘Panchak’, shot in Konkan, is a dark comedy that deals with the fear of superstition and death. The film features an ensemble cast of the finest artistes from the Marathi film and television industry, and theatre, and is shot in picturesque Konkan.
Produced by RNM Moving Pictures, ‘Panchak’ is directed by Jayant Jathar and Rahul Awate. Starring Adinath Kothare, Tejashri Pradhan, Anand Ingale, Nandita Patkar, Bharati Acharekar, Vidyadhar Joshi, Satish Alekar, Sagar Talashikar, Dipti Devi, Ashish Kulkarni, and Dilip Prabhavalkar the film is set to release on 5th January 2024.
