Smita Patil regretted later while acting in the film as there was no opportunity for her to showcase her talent.
Parveen Babi though in supporting role walked over Smita by singing two most iconic songs !! 
Amitabh was at his prime of career. His acting in the film was commendable. Kishore got his 5th Filmfare award by singing ‘pag ghungroo bandh.’
