Actors Ragini goes to judicial custody, Sanjana remains in CCB custody

In Karnataka, the dragging drug case since last  two weeks with CCB enquiry of two Kannada film actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani now entered a second phase. Ragini gets14 day judicial custody. Where as Sanjana is given to CCB custody for 2 more days. Till Monday evening the CCB police were busy interrogating the duo and they didn't ask for further Custody of Ragini. But they wanted to extend Sanjana's custody. The 1st ACMM judge in Bengaluru on appearing through video conference ordered 14 days judicial custody for Ragini and 2 days CCB custody for Sanjana. Now both the actors will be seperated. Ragini goes to jail in Parappaana  Agrahara. Sanjana remains with CCB.Out of other 7 arrested accused five will be in judicial custody.  Viren Khanna, Ravishankar gets 2 more days police custody. Prashant Ranka, Loom Pepper, Rahul and Niaz Ahmed and Simon - all drug pedlars were also given to 14 days judicial custody.

Although Ragini requested the court for treatment in a private hospital for her asthama and other problems, the court asked her to take the treatment at the jail hospital.

Ragini has been accommodated in a quarantine VIP cell. All the accused are tested negative for corona.
