The Miami-born adult film star, 26, was found on March 1 by family members inside her home in US. Mike Romero, her stepfather, said local police are still investigating the cause of her death on her GoFundMe page. Romero wrote on the memorial fundraising page: 'Sophia was found unresponsive in her apartment home on March 1st, 2024 by her family. 'A investigation by local Police into the cause of death is still currently on going.'He also described her as a "beloved daughter, sister, grand daughter, niece and friend" and described her "deep love for animals," including her three pets.He added: "She enjoyed traveling and always found ways to make everyone around her smile."
The sex icon had lasted uploaded to her Instagram, which has nearly 300k followers, only a week ago.Modeling 101 reposted the GoFundMe page and shared a heartfelt message."Our hearts are broken by the untimely and tragic passing of our beloved Sophia Leone. A beautiful spirit who touched many of us. RIP sweet angel and know how much we loved you," they wrote.Sophia Leone was born on June 10, 1997, in Miami in the US. As per reports, she started working in the adult film industry at the age of 18 and had net worth of 1 Million USD. The news of untimely death came out as a big shock. Adult film stars Kagney Linn Karter, Jesse Jane, and Thaina Fields also passed away this year.
