iPhone 17 sale begins in India with scuffle

Apple commenced the sale of its newly launched iPhone 17 series across India. The launch of iPhone 17 series on Friday drew massive crowds outside the Apple Stores at Mumbai, Delhi. Amidst the rush at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) facility, a scuffle broke out among a few people waiting in line. As per information, shoppers and tech enthusiasts fought each other to buy variants of the new iPhone 17. Security personnel were forced to intervene after chaos erupted in the crowd.

A similar rush was seen outside the Apple outlet at Select Citywalk Mall in Saket, New Delhi, where buyers waited overnight to get their hands on the new iPhones. People queued outside on the road waiting for the mall to open so they could be among the first to buy the latest iPhone. Rush, though less chaotic, was seen at the Apple store in Bengaluru also.

To drive sales, Apple’s retail partners and distributors have introduced multiple promotional offers such as cashback, exchange discounts, and extended EMI options. Customers trading in older iPhones can also benefit from bundled deals on accessories and wearables.Apple has announced the iPhone 17 Pro and the Pro Max - the top models - alongside the regular iPhone 17 and all-new iPhone Air. The prices range from Rs 82,900 to Rs 2.3 lakh.
