In Himachal Pradesh, 6 dead bodies retrieved by Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in Lahoul Spiti, Flood occurred about 7 km ahead of Karga in Lahoul Spiti in Tozing nallah. This happened at about 10.30 PM on Tuesday night. 4 labours including Junior Engineer of BRO with JCV and One Jeep of civilian with 4 passengers got trapped in flood. 02 civilians had been rescued by local population, however 6 were missing. On Wednesdaymorning, the ITBP rescue team of 2nd Battalion sent from Karga searched the spots and recovered 6 dead bodies from the area.
According to reports, in Lahaul's Udaipur, two tents of labourers and a private JCB were washed away in the flash floods triggered by a cloudburst on Tuesday night. Road leading to Udaipur from Keylong side, Manali-Leh highway and Gramphu - Kaza highway are blocked for vehicular movement at several locations due to flash flood, landslides and heavy inflow of water from rivulets.
