Cong puppet of anti-India forces, about to hit century of defeat: PM

In Assam, PM Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for multiple development projects worth Rs 23,550 crore in Silchar. Addressing a gathering, Prime Minister Modi described Barak Valley as a region defined by cultural diversity where Bengali, Assamese and tribal traditions coexist in harmony. He said the projects in rail, road and education sectors would enhance trade routes and create new opportunities for local youth while strengthening the region’s economic role in the North East. Slamming the Congress , PM Modi said that party is going to hit century of its defeat. 

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma  said that the Assam is passing through its golden period where progress and development are touching everyone under the PM Narendra Modi.

The 166-km four-lane greenfield high-speed corridor will reduce the distance between Guwahati and Silchar from 295 km to 252 km, cutting travel time from 8.5 hours to around 5 hours, officials said.
