Congress going to win Karnataka elections, says Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has said that he is not against any corporate -- his opposition is towards monopolisation. "Adani has committed Rs 60,000 crore to Rajasthan. No chief minister can refuse such an offer. Talking to newsmen in Karnataka, during his Bharat Jodo march, Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said that the complete monopolisation of businesses weakens the country. And today what we are seeing is a complete monopolisation of all businesses. And that's my problem. Gandhi asserted that the Rajsthan government has not used political power to help Adani in the state. The day they do that, I will stand in the opposition. My contention is in the use of political power to help certain chosen businesses. My opposition is to 2 or 3 or 4 large businessed being helped politicially to monopolise every single business in this country. That is where my opposition is, Rahul Gandhi said. Rahul Gandhi keeps targetting Adani-Ambani in his attack against the BJP government whereas Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot came under fire for praising industrialist Gautam Adani. He clarified his stand in PFI. Spreading hatred and violence in the country is an anti-national act. We will fight anybody who spreads hatred and violence, he said.

In reply to a question, related to Karnataka, Gandhi said that We have brilliant leaders in Karnataka and once we win the elections, the CM face will be decided through a process that is carried out in the Congress party. He said that Congress is going to win the Karnataka elections hands down.

Gandhi said that both the nominees contesting for Congress Presidential elections have a position as well as their own perspectives. To call anyone a 'remote control' is insulting to both of them.
