Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri has alleged that the Revadi(freebies) politics is a form of scam."If the state government doesn't work responsibly and engages in irresponsible politics, then what happened between 2004 and 2014 will happen again," he said in Delhi.

Puri also criticised the Karnataka government for increasing fuel prices. "Their Yuva leader had said that all the work will be done Khatakhat and they have started doing the same...", he alleged.He presented a comperative rates between the BJP and non- congress ruled states.

The Karnataka government has recently increased the petrol and diesel price by Rs 3.00 and Rs 3,05 respectivly.
