Shardiya Navratri: Third Goddess- CHANDRAGHANTA

Prasadam Tanute Mahayam Chandraghanteti Vishruta ॥
The third day of Ashvin Shukla Paksha i.e. the day of worship of the third Shakti of Maa Durga. On this day, Mother Chandraghanta, the form of Durga, will be worshipped. Because of the hour-shaped crescent moon adorned on the forehead of Mother Goddess, she is known as Chandraghanta.
Mother Chandraghanta, whose vehicle is a lion. Whose four right hands out of ten hold a lotus flower, bow, chanting rosary and arrow, and the fifth hand remains in Abhaya Mudra. While the four left hands hold trident, mace, kamandalu and sword, and the fifth hand remains in Varada Mudra. This form is considered very beneficial.
Mother Goddess is ready to protect the devotees. The enemy is destroyed before the sound of their bell. Hence Goddess Chandraghanta provides relief from all troubles. If the mantra of Maa Chandraghanta is chanted today, the seeker gets favorable results from the planet Venus. Because the planet Venus is dominated by Maa Chandraghanta.  Hence the mantra of Maa Chandraghanta should be chanted today.The mantra is -

Prasadam Tanute Mahayam Chandraghanteti Vishruta ॥  
Chanting this mantra 11 times removes problems related to Venus and brings material happiness and prosperity in life.  
In the prasad of Mother Chandraghanta
Mother becomes happy by feeding kheer, halwa and sweets to girls. By offering Kheer made from cow's milk as Prasad, the seeker gets freedom from all obstacles.
Worship method -
Install the statue or picture of Mother Goddess on a post. Purify with Ganga water or cow urine. Fill water in a silver, copper or earthen pitcher on the post and place a coconut on top and install the Kalash. With resolution, worship all the invoked deities including Maa Chandraghanta with Vedic and Saptashati mantras. This includes asana, padya, ardhya, achaman, bath, clothes, good luck formula, sandalwood, roli, turmeric, vermilion, durva, belpatra, jewellery, flower garland, fragrant liquid, incense lamp, naivedya, fruits, paan, dakshina, aarti. Do pradakshina, mantra, garland etc. After that, complete the puja by distributing Prasad.
