'Rang Madhya Pradesh’ marked the Foundation Day

Madhya Pradesh was founded on November 1, 1956 and it was reorganised on November 1, 2000, to create a new Chhattisgarh state. Gala event is planned every year to celebrate the state foundation day, However, in 2020, celebrations were scaled down due to COVID pandemic.Foundation Day celebration was a low prifile function.  Various cultural programmes were organised  at  Bhopal based  tribal museum;

The Culture department of Madhya Pradesh government has planned a month long  cultural and literary programmes in which various  academies  will participate. The function is named as "Ranga Madhya Pradesh" mainly traditional cultural programmes of will be staged. Popular teibal dances like karama and sela dance of gond tribes,Bhageria dance of Nimar region presanted Gangour and jhalaria dances. These cultural programmes depict very rich cultural inheritance of tribal folks of the state. This  gamak samaroh will continue throughout month. But the minus point of this beautiful programme was that  Bhopalites were not aware of itinerary of these colourful programmes. This could be avoided if the  mp tourist deptt would also be involved.

In anothe programme  the MP Tourism Development Corporation(MPTDC) started Banana boat ride for tourist boat club to  boost water tourism in Bhopal city. it will be open from Monday for tourist even though both has a capacity of six people but there they have allowed four people to avoid Corona infection one round will be of 10 to 12 minutes.
