Felt 'undeserving' of Padma Bhushan award-Ananad Mahindra

Industrialist Anand Mahindra shared a note of gratitude after receiving the Padma Bhushan award from President Ram Nath Kovind. Mahindra was felicitated with India's third-highest civilian honour in the field of Trade and Industry on Monday. However, the chairman of the Mahindra group expressed that he “truly felt undeserving” as compared to the other recipients. Mahindra retweeted a post shared by the official Twitter account of the President of India that was about Tulasi Gowda, an environmentalist from Karnataka and a Padma Shri winner, responsible for planting over 30,000 saplings in the area.

He is the Chairman of the Mahindra Group. His tenure has seen the Group expand domestically and internationally into a range of major industrial sectors from automobile to IT & Aerospace,
