Chaitra Navratri- Dwitiya Brahmacharini

दधाना करपद्माभ्यामक्षमालाकमण्लू।
देवी प्रसीदतु मयि ब्रह्मचारिण्यनुत्तमा॥
On the second day of Chaitra Navratri, Goddess Brahmacharini is worshipped. She is known as the Goddess of discipline and penance. Worship on this day blesses the devotee with austerity, renunciation, detachment, good conduct, and self-restraint. In her right hand, Mother Brahmacharini holds a rosary, and in her left hand, she carries a water pot (kamandalu).
Why is she called Brahmacharini?
According to the scriptures, it is believed that Goddess Durga, in the form of Parvati, was born as the daughter of the mountain king. On the advice of Narada, Parvati accepted Lord Shiva as her husband and performed severe penance to attain him. After performing penance for thousands of years, she came to be known as Tapacharini or Brahmacharini. The second day of Navratri is worshipped as a symbol of this great penance.
The essence is that even in the most difficult struggles of life, the mind should not waver. By worshipping Mother Brahmacharini, one can bring wealth, prosperity, and happiness into life.
The devotee who worships this Goddess attains victory. If one desires assured success in any endeavor, then today one should chant the mantra of Goddess Brahmacharini.
Mantra: "ॐ ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं ब्रह्मचारिण्यै नमः ।"
This mantra should be recited at least one mala (108 times). It ensures success in various tasks. While worshipping Goddess Brahmacharini, hold a red flower in your hands, meditate on her, and recite the mantra with devotion.
Dhyana Mantra

परम वंदना पल्लवराधरां कांत कपोला पीन।
पयोधराम् कमनीया लावण्यं स्मेरमुखी निम्ननाभि नितम्बनीम्॥
Give the Goddess a ritual bath with Panchamrit, offer flowers, rice grains, vermilion, kumkum, and fragrant white flowers.
Puja Vidhi (Worship Method)
According to tradition, first bathe with milk, curd, ghee, and honey all the deities, attendants, and Yoginis that you invoked into the Kalash. Then offer flowers, rice grains, roli, and sandalwood. After this, donate betel leaves, areca nut, and some dakshina. Again, with a flower in your hands, pray repeatedly while chanting the mantra.
Offer only red flowers to Mother Brahmacharini. Garland her with a lotus-made mala. Offer sugar as bhog, as it pleases the Goddess quickly.
After this, worship Lord Shiva, and then in the name of Lord Brahma, take water, flowers, and rice in your hands and place them on the ground while chanting:
“ॐ ब्रह्मणे नमः।” Shubham Bhavatu.
