IIT Madras's innovation-based education initiative ‘Vidyashakti', was a major attraction in the Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0.The initiative has given a new dimension to ‘Tamil Karkalam' Tamil language learning by integrating digital tools. According to Nagarajan, Member of Vidya Shakti team of IIT, Madras, online technology intervention is as per new education policy 2020. Launched in 2021, Vidyashakti has been making Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning interesting in 10 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation has partnered with ‘Vidya Shakti,’ an initiative of Open Mentor to educate students in rural areas of Uttar Pradesh through online classes and virtual reality.
