Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday unveiled a booklet highlighting his government's achievements as he completes 4.5 years in office. Uttar Pradesh has risen to number two in the national ranking of ‘Ease of Doing Business’ in this period, said CM Adityanath while marking 4.5 years of its government, in Lucknow. Yogi claim that law and order in UP has imporved because his government dealt with criminals and mafias with strictness under the framework of law irrespective of their caste, place and religion. More than Rs 1800 crores of govt property were seized and the illegal encroachments of criminals were also demolished. In the last 4.5 yrs, we've given houses to 42 lakh poor. In case of a calamity, we try to give compensation to the affected in 24 hours. In 4.5 years, we've provided over Rs 5 lakh crore via DBT to the people of the state. A total of 4.5 lakh youngsters were given government jobs through a transparent system, he added.
The CM also attacked the previous governments saying that the riots had become a trend in the state earlier, however, no riot took place in the 4.5 years of BJP rule in the state. "To complete 4.5 yrs tenure in a state like UP is very important in the view of security and good governance. Perception of the state has changed in the country. This is the same UP where riots had become a trend earlier. But in the last 4.5 yrs, there was no riot," he said.A 64-page booklet has been brought out listing the achievements of his government in various fields in the “four years of service and good governance. Besides referring to the presentation of its first paperless budget (2021-2022) with largest ever size of Rs 5.5 lakh crore for all round development of Uttar Pradesh, the booklet lists efforts to make the state a trillion dollar economy and bring about improvement in law and order situation, among major achievements.
